RTR Vehicles has revealed the latest version of the 2024 Ford Mustang. Called the 2024 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 2, it is basically based on the 2024 Mustang GT chassis. With this new Ford Mustang RTR Spec 2, the American automotive company brings in several mechanical and visual upgrades. The new features include a new upper grille with LED accent lights, RTR Tactical Performance suspension, and other things. Besides, the new car receives a serialised dash plaque autographed by Vaughn Gittin Jr. According to the company, the 2024 Mustang RTR Spec 2 will go on sale this summer, along with the RTR Spec 1 unit. RTR is an American company owned by Formula D champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. and is famous for turning Ford vehicles into an RTR special. It currently offers serialised vehicle packages based on existing Ford models, including Mustang, Ranger, Bronco, Mach-E, and F-150

2024 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 2: What is new?
The 2023 Mustang RTR Spec 2 has a redesigned upper grille with signature LED accent lighting, thereby offering better airflow to the radiator for engine cooling. The vehicle's hood vent, chin, decklid spoiler, graphics package, and special RTR badging are all eye-grabbing. The suspension and handling enhancements come in the form of 20-inch RTR Aero 5 wheels with Nitto NT555 G2 tyres and an RTR rear shock mount kit. In addition, the Spec 2 also includes RTR Tactical Performance lowering springs, adjustable front & rear sway bars, and adjustable shocks & struts. Notably, the tried-and-tested bespoke suspension set-up has been installed on each Ford Mustang RTR Spec 2.
Moving inside, the RTR Spec 2 gets black RTR-branded floor mats protecting the car's interior, a black 6-speed shift knob, and a serialised dash plaque with Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s signature.
2024 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 2: Powertrain & Performance
Under the hood, the 2024 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 2 receives a 5.0-litre V8 engine, which now generates 473bhp of maximum power and 563Nm of peak torque. The output is increased to 479bhp and 567Nm, with the optional active performance exhaust system.

The new Mustang Dark Horse uses Ford's 5.0-litre V8 engine, churning out 500bhp and 566Nm of torque. On the other hand, the fourth-generation Coyote V8 engine puts out 486bhp and 566Nm of torque.
