The Toyota Rumion, a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, is expected to hit the Indian market later this year. However, before that, Toyota introduced the facelifted version of the Rumion in South Africa. For 2023, the Japanese automaker has offered a few aesthetic changes to the new Rumion. While the original model came with a chrome radiator grille, the redesigned Rumion gets a bigger grille with a mesh finish. Along with refreshed alloy wheel design, the 2023 model gets a sportier front bumper. Except for the badging, the MPV's interior has the same dashboard design as the Ertiga. The seating arrangement and paint scheme are both identical as well. But unlike the Ertiga, it has a flat-bottom steering wheel, a twin-dial instrument cluster, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre.
