Tata Motors introduced the redesigned Harrier in India last month, with a starting price of Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Before the official launch, reservations for the upgraded SUV were available for Rs 25,000 and are still being accepted. However, the SUV has recently begun to be delivered to customers, and a video of it has leaked online. Sunlit Yellow, Coral Red, Pebble Grey, Lunar White, Oberon Black, Seaweed Green, and Ash Grey are among the seven colour options for the 2023 Harrier. The SUV comes in four different trim levels: Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Fearless, and boasts a range of enhancements over its predecessor. Alongside the Harrier, the domestic automaker also launched the new Safari in India at a starting price of 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom). This mid-size 3-row SUV is offered in four broad variants: Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Accomplished. 2023 Tata Harrier: Engine
At the heart of the new Harrier, is still a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine mated to a 6-speed manual or an automated torque converter gearbox. The engine is in line with BS6 Phase 2 standards and produces 168bhp of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque. The new Harrier's fuel economy numbers include 14.60 km/l for the automatic and 16.80 km/l for the manual. The manual model's fuel efficiency has raised by 0.45km/l from 16.35km/l in the previous version, while the automated version keeps the same value. The revamped Harrier comes with three driving modes: Eco, City, and Sport. In addition, the manufacturer has also introduced three new traction modes: Normal, Rough, and Wet.

The all-new Harrier comes equipped with a bunch of features such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a rotary dial for drive modes, an air purifier, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charging pad, and more. For safety, the SUV includes a cruise control, automatic parking brake, blind spot monitoring, 360-degree camera, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and up to seven airbags, among other features.
