Renault India has launched the 2023 Kiger RXT (O) MT trim at an attractive price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated variant has arrived in our market with several new features, including an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, alloy wheels, LED headlamps, and more. Aside from this, the carmaker now offers electronic stability control, hill start aid, traction control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system as standard across all variants of the Renault Kiger to meet strict Indian safety standards. In our market, the firm has also announced a range of benefits on the RXZ variant of the Kiger. These offers are in the form of loyalty benefits, exchange bonuses, and cash discounts. The Renault Kiger RXZ version has received an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000, a cash discount worth Rs 10,000, and a loyalty benefit of Rs 49,000.

2023 Renault Kiger RXT (O) MT: Key Highlights
Renault has offered new features to the Kiger RXT (O) MT variant for 2023 and revised its prices for the Indian market. Before the price cut, the Renault Kiger RXT (O) MT trim was available at Rs 8.24 lakh. Now, the 2023 version is offered in our market at an ex-showroom pricing of Rs 7.99 Lakh. The carmaker has slashed the prices of the model by Rs 25,000. Feature-wise, the RXT (O) MT variant of the SUV gets an 8-inch touchscreen, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, LED Headlamps, and more.
Mechanically, the Renault Kiger is available with two engine options: 1-litre NA and 1-litre turbo-petrol. The turbocharged engine produces 99bhp and 152Nm, while the naturally aspirated engine generates 71bhp and 96Nm. These engines can be mated to either a 5-speed manual, 5-speed AMT (NA-petrol), or CVT (turbo-petrol).

New Renault Kiger: Prices, Safety Features & Competitors
In February 2023, Renault revised the list of safety features for all of its vehicles, including the Kiger. The electronic stability programme (ESP), traction control, hill-start assist, and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) are now included with the SUV as standard equipment. There are also up to four airbags and a reversing camera on board as additional safety features. Price-wise, the SUV costs between Rs 6.50 lakh and Rs 11.23 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Further, the Kiger competes with the Citroen C3, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, as well as sub-4m SUVs like the Tata Nexon, the Nissan Magnite, and more in the Indian market.
