2023 Hyundai Venue, N Line Variant Launched in India, Price Starts at Rs 10.32 Lakh

The 2023 edition of the Hyundai Venue and its N-Line variant featuring SmartSense (ADAS) and a new Powertrain have been rolled out by Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) for our domestic market. This move has made the Venue the most reasonably priced SUV with ADAS in the country.

The 2023 edition of the Hyundai Venue and its N-Line variant featuring SmartSense (ADAS) and a new Powertrain have been rolled out by Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) for our domestic market. It is important to note that with its SX (O) variant, which costs Rs 12.44 lakh (ex-showroom), the compact SUV becomes the first in the segment to be fitted with ADAS technology. This move has also made the Venue the most reasonably priced SUV with ADAS in the country. The manufacturer claims that with this, potential owners can enjoy improved driving, safety, and convenience with the new models fitted with an ADAS. The starting price for the Hyundai Venue S(O) MT with ADAS is Rs 10.32 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the base price for the Venue N-Line N6 MT stands at Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). All engine types, including gasoline, diesel, and turbo gasoline, are compatible with the ADAS.

Both Venue and Venue N Line will now feature Hyundai SmartSense. With this introduction, Hyundai now offers 5 Models equipped with ADAS including the Ioniq 5, Tucson, Verna, Venue & the Venue N Line. Customers can now enjoy the undiluted performance and thrilling experiences with the new 6-speed Manual Transmission mated to the 1.0 l Turbo GDi petrol engine, available on both Venue & Venue N Line. These strategic investments in the introduction of new technologies, design, features, and safety technologies across Hyundai’s product range are aimed at elevating customer’s ownership experiences.”

2023 Hyundai Venue, N Line Variant: Powertrain Options

Starting with the mechanical specs of the newly launched models, a new powertrain featuring a 1.0-litre T-GDi Petrol unit and 6-speed manual transmission is now available for the Hyundai Venue as well as the N-Line model. The new powerplant is available on the Venue S(O) and SX(O) in addition to the Venue N-Line N6 and N8 models. The engine is capable of churning out 172Nm of peak torque at 1500 to 4000rpm and 118bhp of maximum power at 6000rpm. A 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine are further powertrain choices. Three different manual transmissions—a five-speed unit, a six-speed unit, and a seven-speed DCT unit—are available.

2023 Hyundai Venue, N Line Variant: Features Onboard

The addition of the ADAS suite is the all-new model's primary selling point. The Venue range is now comprised of conveniences such as leading vehicle departure alert, forward collision warning, lane-keeping assist, driver attention warning, forward collision avoidance assist, lane-following assist, high beam assist, and lane departure warning, among others. 

2023 Hyundai Venue, N Line Variant: Other ADAS Models in the Lineup

Apart from the 2023 editions of the Venue and the Venue N Line, the South Korean automaker offers three other popular models equipped with ADAS in our home market. These include the Tucson, the Ioniq 5, and the Verna sedan.

Hyundai recently teased the redesigned i20 before its official debut. Four months after the Hyundai i20 Facelift made its premiere on the world stage, the carmaker shared a fresh teaser of the vehicle online for the Indian market. The car featured in the official video will be upgraded in a variety of ways above the standard model, nearly all of which are purely cosmetic. Despite the lack of information from the manufacturer regarding the engine, industry rumours suggest that the mechanical components of the upcoming improved model are unlikely to change. The same set of engines used in the previous generation's model will continue to power the new i20.
