The new 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been launched in India with more features and creature comforts.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Brezza in India. The price for the car starts at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the LXi variant. The company recently commenced bookings for the car and has stated that it received 4,500 bookings on the very first day.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Exterior
In terms of dimensions, the Brezza is 3,995mm long, 1,790mm wide, 1,685mm high and has a wheelbase of 2,500mm. In the new version, the car comes with a revised front fascia with a new grille, flanked by LED projector headlamps with integrated DRLs. In addition to this, the new front bumper gets new foglamp housings and a silver skid plate to highlight the SUV's character.
The car now sits on a set of new alloy wheels, with squared-off wheel arches. At the rear, the car has a pair of redesigned LED taillights and Brezza lettering across the boot lid.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Interior
Inside, the new Brezza comes with a revised upholstery option with a black and brown theme. Also, the car gets an electric sunroof for the first time, along with features like a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display, and a nine-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment unit.
Creature comforts on board include an ARKAMYS music system, a cooled glovebox, a new flat-bottom steering wheel with controls, ambient lighting, new controls for the HVAC system, a 12V socket in the back row, and a push start/stop button.
The safety feature list of the new Brezza includes six airbags, an electronic stability program, hill-hold assist, roll-over mitigation, and a reverse parking camera.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Engine
The new Brezza continues to be powered by the same 1.5-litre K12C petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 138Nm of torque. In addition to this, the car also gets a mild-hybrid motor, which will produce 3bhp at 900rpm. Transmission options include a five-speed manual unit and a new six-speed torque converter.
