Ahead of its launch, Mahindra has revealed the first set of pictures of the Scorpio-N’s interior. The car will go on sale on June 27, and here’s what the latest set of images tells us.
Mahindra has revealed more details of the interior of the upcoming Scorpio-N SUV in India. While the spy shots that made it to the internet before this reveal did give us a glimpse of the interior, the latest images show a lot more. We noticed some eerie similarities between the dashboard layout of the Scorpio-N and the Toyota Land Cruiser LC200. Official pictures have the dashboard covered in a dark tan shade with a contrast black dual-tone setup, which is carried over to the seats as well.
The dashboard, AC vents, centre console, and door handles are subtly finished in brushed aluminium. There will be two kinds of instrument clusters available on the upcoming Scorpio-N. The higher variant will get a bigger multi-info display, positioned between the conventional speedometer and tachometer.
The infotainment system in the car is expected to come with the brand’s AdrenoX suite, with features like phone connectivity. We expect the higher variants to also get features like a Sony 3D surround sound system, similar to that of the XUV700; however, the number of speakers may differ.
It is to be noted that the Scorpio-N will be sold alongside the current-gen Scorpio in India and will be placed between the latter and the XUV700. It will get two engine options – a 2.0-litre petrol unit and a 2.2-litre diesel engine.
