The Gladiator Willys edition draws inspiration from the very first Willys-Overland Pickup of 1947.
Following the good response received by the Jeep Wrangler Willys limited edition model, the American marque is expanding its Willys Edition line-up by bringing the Gladiator pick-up under its rubric. Over the standard Gladiator models, the Willys edition comes with some extra bells & whistles, not to mention the exclusive Willys sticker work on the exterior. Plus, it's available in two variants – Sport and Sport S.
Key highlights of the 2021 Gladiator Willys edition include Trac-Lok® limited-slip rear differential, Rubicon-style cab rock rails & shocks and 17-inch aluminium wheels shod with 32-inch BFGoodrich KM2 mud-terrain tires. The rest of the features list remains the standard – Jeep’s Command-Trac 4x4 system, a two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio and the Jeep UConnect® 4 infotainment system (with a seven-inch touchscreen) that offers Apple CarPlay support and Android Auto integration (available with the Sport S).
The exterior highlights come in the form of a 'Willys' decal on the bonnet, a heritage '4-Wheel-Drive' decal on the tailgate, mid-gloss-black-painted wheels, body-colour fender flares and a gloss-black sport grille with grey pad print. Available in eight colour options, the Gladiator Willys edition, like all Gladiator iterations, is also Trail Rated. It's powered by a 281bhp 3.6-litre Pentastar petrol V6 motor that's mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
