For the first time in India, the F-PACE goes on sale in the sporty R-Dynamic S trim. The facelift also brings back the option of a diesel powertrain.
Two months ago, we had informed our readers about the imminent arrival of the 2021 Jaguar F-PACE in India. Back then, Jaguar had officially started accepting bookings for the updated SUV, and now the brand has confirmed that customer deliveries have already begun. Jaguar has also taken this opportunity to announce the price of the 2021 F-PACE – the SUV will now set you back by ₹69.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
For the first time, the F-PACE is available exclusively in the R-Dynamic S trim, and as we had informed earlier, the 2021 model brings back the option of a diesel powertrain. Therefore, the F-PACE now offers the choice between a 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol motor (247bhp/365Nm) and a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel unit, which develops a healthy 201bhp and 430Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and offer all-wheel-drive as standard, and both variants (P250 and D200) carry the same price.
Interestingly, the 2021 F-PACE is available with an array of mild-hybrid powertrain options in international markets, but, for India, it seems Jaguar has steered clear of them.
Being a facelift, the 2021 F-PACE doesn't get any major design changes. There, however, are a few restyled bits. For instance, now the front & rear lend the facelift an element of freshness – the SUV now looks sharper than ever. Plus, customers can also look forward to a more modern and tempting interior design, which will surely become a USP of the updated F-PACE. To this end, the F-PACE has also received two new interior colours – Mars Red and Sienna Tan.
