Bookings for the new Honda City can be made against an amount of ₹5,000 (online) or for ₹21,000 if done at a dealership.
The new 2020 Honda City gets another step closer to its launch as Honda Car India Limited (HCIL) has officially opened its order books for its updated mid-sized executive sedan. To promote its new 'Honda from Home' online sales channel, Honda has opened online bookings of the 2020 City at ₹5,000. However, do the same at any authorised Honda dealership across the country and it'll set you back ₹21,000.
The 2020 iteration of the City happens to be the 5th-generation model that is underpinned by a new chassis. Thanks to new underpinnings, the 2020 Honda City will sport bigger dimensions than its predecessor. Plus, Honda will launch the 2020 City with an all-new DOHC VTEC (twin-cam) 1.5-litre petrol motor that will push out 120bhp & 145Nm of torque.
The car has entered production at Honda's manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh and dealer dispatches have begun as well. We've driven the new Honda City but can't share details until its launch. So, watch this space for all the latest launch updates and don't forget to check out our first-drive review of the 2020 Honda City.
In the meantime, here's a lowdown on all that's new on the 2020 Honda City.
