The 2018 D-Max V-Cross Standard is priced at Rs. 14.31 lakh, while the High variant costs Rs. 15.81 lakh – both ex-showroom, Delhi.
Isuzu has given a minor refresh to its D-Max V-Cross lifestyle pickup for the 2018 model.
The updated V-Cross has received very subtle exterior and interior tweaks. On the outside, the truck now features LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, side-steps and chrome rear bumper. Also, a new Ruby Red shade has been added to the existing range of exterior colours.
On the inside, the new V-Cross gets black leather seats, 6-way power adjustment for the driver’s seat, touchscreen infotainment system and rear view camera. Other safety/convenience features like cruise control, electronic stability control and traction control are now also offered.
With the update, the V-Cross also now has two variants, while earlier it was just one. The variants will be called Standard and High. Most of the aforementioned features are standard on the latter.
Mechanically, Isuzu has left the V-Cross pretty much untouched. This means that the pickup is still propelled by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel motor good for producing 135bhp of max power and 320Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed manual remains the only gearbox option. The V-Cross also comes equipped with a standard 4x4 system.
The V-Cross is the most successful model of Isuzu in India and has established a unique niche for itself. The company hopes to retain the pickup’s popularity with added features and more trim levels for 2018.
