Jaguar Land Rover has revealed details of the all new upcoming India spec Jaguar XF.

On their official website, Jaguar has revealed the specifications of the new XF that will be launched in India soon.

The new XF will get three trim options; Pure, Prestige and Portfolio and will get the latest Ingenium series engine. Powering the car will be a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The engine develops a maximum of 180hp and 430Nm of torque and can do 0-100km/h in 8.1 seconds.

A 240hp, 2.0-litre petrol engine will also be offered in the Prestige and Portfolio trims. Mated to the same 8-speed automatic transmission, the petrol engine develops 340Nm of torque and sprints from 0-100km/h in 7 seconds. In both petrol and diesel options, power is sent to the rear wheels.

The XF will also get the ‘Jaguar Drive Control’ which allows the driver to select between Standard, Eco, Dynamic and Rain/Ice/Snow modes. These modes changes the performance characteristics of the car by tweaking certain parameters of the Steering, throttle and gearbox digitally.

As standard, Jaguar will equip the XF with many electronic goodies to make you feel comfortable inside the cabin like 8-inch touchscreen, electronically adjustable front seats with leather seats all around, Meridian surround sound system, and parking sensors among many others. Also standard are 17-inch alloys, bi-functional xenon headlamps. In the Portfolio trim, The XF gets 18 inch wheels and 14-way electronically adjustable front seats and more.

Jaguar will launch the XF in India later this year and will compete with the Mercedes E-Class, Audi A6, BMW 5-sries and the soon to be launched Volvo S-90.
