Indeed the going has been tough for Renault, but the French car maker is taking another shot at the hatchback market with the facelift 2015 Pulse, which is priced at Rs 5.03 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
Even though Renault has yet to reveal the prices of all the variants, the 2015 Pulse is not a run-of-the-mill upgrade as it comes with additional features, which will hopefully entice buyers. The Pulse now comes with automatic headlamps, steering mounted controls and the driver seat comes with a height adjuster.Step inside and you are welcomed by an all new dual tone dashboard with a piano black finish on the centre fascia.
The Pulse retains features like smart key access with engine start and stop button, auto folding outside rear view mirrors and an integrated 2 DIN music system with Bluetooth and USB. It is equipped with ABS, EBD, dual airbags and crash sensors. The Pulse continues to be powered by the 1.5-litre diesel and 1.2-litre petrol engines.
At the launch, Mr. Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations, said, “Pulse is an important part of our product portfolio and we have made several product enhancements to make the 2015 Pulse even more attractive and exciting for customers. We have topped this with competitive pricing backed with an attractive finance option which adds to its value proposition, making it one of the strongest offerings in the premium hatchback segment.”
