Chinese marque Zontes is preparing to enter the 600-700cc segment with its middleweight motorcycles – the ZT 703 F and the ZT 703 RR. The former is an adventure tourer, while the latter is a sportbike. Unveiled recently as concept bikes, the Zontes ZT 703 F and the ZT 703 RR share a brand-new triple-cylinder engine. Though the motor is offered in a 699cc capacity, it is differently tuned for each bike in order to suit their riding styles. The adventure-touring model cranks out 100bhp at 9,000rpm and 85Nm of peak torque at 7,200rpm, whereas the sportier version is capable of making 110bhp at 11,000rpm and 75Nm of torque at 8,600rpm.
Hardware-wise, the Zontes ZT 703 F comes with a 21-inch spoke wheel at the front and an 18-inch spoke wheel at the rear, hinting at its off-road capabilities. The ZT 703 RR, on the other hand, rolls on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 120 front and 180 rear section tyres.

Zontes ZT 703 F, ZT 703 RR: Visual Bits
With the ZT 703 F, Zontes has stuck to the design rulebook. Apart from a combination of 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, the adventurer gets angular bodywork, all-LED lighting, and uniquely designed twin exhaust pipes. Crash guards, pannier stays, and a large windscreen give the ZT 703 F true off-road credentials. Meanwhile, the ZT 703 RR sportbike appears to be aggressively styled with low-slung clip-on handlebars, raised rearsets, and 17-inch wheels. For weight reduction, both motorcycles use a new aluminium frame and swingarm.
Zontes ZT 703 F, ZT 703 RR: Availability
The Zontes ZT 703 F and ZT 703 RR concept motorcycles are expected to evolve into production models in late 2024, however, the company has yet to make it official. If these concepts went into production, they would be offered at an affordable price range in order to cater to a wider audience.
