Yulu, a shared electric mobility platform, has launched its first electric scooter in the domestic market. Dubbed the Wynn, the e-scooter is available at an introductory price of Rs 55,555 (ex-showroom). With the launch of its electric two-wheeler, the company is targeting customers in the personal mobility space. Prospective buyers who wish to book this scooter can do so at its official website. The scooter can be reserved for Rs 999, which will be delivered in mid-May this year. It is important to note that post the introductory period, the Wynn will be priced at Rs 59,999 (ex-showroom). The e-scooter can be bought with or without a battery. For the buyers opting to purchase the e-scooter with its swappable battery pack, they have to pay a subscription fee to get their hands on the Wynn's battery pack.
The battery pack of the Yullu Wynn e-scooter can be replaced at the battery charging & swapping station on the Yuma Energy network, which is a product of a partnership between Yullu and Magna.

Yulu Wynn Electric Scooter: Battery, Range
The e-scooter is equipped with a 19.3 Ah swappable battery and 250W electric motor that yields a claimed riding range of 68 kilometres (IDC) on a single charge. It has a top speed of about 25km/h.

The Yulu Wynn e-scooter is offered in two colour options - Scarlet Red and Moonlight White. It is a compact electric vehicle that resembles other Yulu models in term of its design. On the feature front, the scooter comes with an LED headlamp, an app-based key, OTA (over-the-air) updates, an instant family-sharing function, and an optional portable charger for home charging. Other notable accessories include rear-view mirrors, a centre stand, a mobile holder, a rear carrier, and a helmet.

The Yullu Wynn is a low-speed electric scooter that carries a maximum payload of 100 kilograms and has an accessible seat height of 740mm. With a top speed of 25km/h, this electric two-wheeler does not require to be registered. Initially, the scooter will be up for purchase only in the city of Bengaluru, according to the company. Thereafter, the vehicle will make its entry in other cities.
