After leaving fans guessing with a teaser that read ''new hues,'' Yamaha has finally revealed the surprise at its virtual launch event today. The company has added new colours to its sporty models —the Yamaha R15 V4, the FZ-S FI, and the FZ-X, just as we had anticipated. Along with new paint options, these Yamaha motorcycles now have updated prices. First, let's talk about the R15 V4, which gets three eye-catching paint jobs— Racing Blue, Metallic Red, and Vivid Magenta Metallic. Dark Knight and Intensity White are the other two hues for the model that were already on offer. The R15's pricing for the new colorways starts at Rs 1.82 lakh (Metallic Red) and goes all the way up to Rs 1.87 lakh for Racing Blue, Intensity White, and Vivid Magenta Metallic. The motorcycle is also offered in the highest-spec R15M variant, which is now priced at Rs 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom) and has been refreshed with a new paint job named Metallic Grey.

Yamaha has also announced new colourways for the refreshed FZ-X. The Matte Titan and Chrome —are the two new paint jobs introduced for the MY2024 versions. However, it's essential to note that the automaker will only provide the FZ-X in Matte Titan, Dark Matte Blue, and Matte Copper paint finishes for now. The chrome-painted version will go on sale in February. The FZ-X painted in the new Matte Titan costs Rs 1.37 lakh. The cost for the Dark Matte Blue paint choice is also the same. For Rs 1.36 lakh, the bike can be had in a Matte Copper hue as well. These are ex-showroom prices.
Additionally, the FZ-S lineup for 2024 has been updated by the Japanese automaker. The new paint options for the all-new FZ-S FI Version 4.0 Deluxe are Majesty Red, Matte Black, and Racing Blue, all priced at Rs 1.30 lakh. The FZ-S FI Version 4.0 is also available in Dark Matte Blue and Matte Black, priced at 1.29 lakh, each (ex-showroom).
On the other hand, the FZ-S FI Version 3.0 comes in a new Matte Grey paint for Rs 1.22 lakh, while the standard FZ FI, which costs Rs 1.16 lakh, is now available in Matte Cyan paint. These prices are ex-showroom.

Yamaha R15 V4, FZ-S and FZ-X: Mechanical Specifics
The Yamaha FZ-X has a 149cc single-cylinder engine that generates 12.23bhp and 13.3Nm, but the R15 has a 155cc liquid-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder motor that produces 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm. In contrast, the FZ S FI is equipped with a 149cc single-cylinder motor that produces 13.3Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm and a maximum power of 12.2bhp at 7,250rpm.
