The Classic 350 is without a doubt Royal Enfield's best-selling model, despite the manufacturer's continuous portfolio expansion. The Classic 350 was first introduced in 2009 and underwent a complete redesign in 2021 with a new chassis and engine, making it a much more refined motorcycle than its forerunners. Now, over three years later, Royal Enfield has revamped the model with fresh paint options, new features, and subtle aesthetic modifications. The bikemaker has announced that the price of the new Classic 350 will be revealed on September 1 with deliveries beginning on the same day.

Updated Royal Enfield Classic 350: Design Updates
Although there are some minor visual changes, the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 retains the present model's design. For an enhanced appearance, the motorcycle now has seven fresh paint jobs. The new colour palette comprises shades like Dark Green with contrast chrome, Commando Sand, Emerald, Jodhpur Blue, Madras Red, Medallion Brown, and Stealth Black, along with a blacked-out exhaust and engine. For those unaware, the brand filed for a trademark for one of its two logos a few weeks back. The new logo is prominently featured on the fuel tank of the reworked model.
Updated Royal Enfield Classic 350: New Features
The most significant change comes in the form of LED lighting. LED headlights, pilot lights, and taillights are now standard on all variants. On the higher-spec variants, it also has an adjustable clutch and brake levers; on the lower variants, it is an optional feature.
The gear position indicator and other essential information are displayed on the same retro-styled, analogue-based cluster with a small MID screen. A USB charging port is also integrated. Furthermore, the Tripper navigation pod from the brand is standard on the top-of-the-line Stealth and Emerald variants, while it is an optional feature on lower-spec models.
Updated Royal Enfield Classic 350: Engine and Hardware
On the mechanical front, the new Classic 350 retains the renowned 349cc single-cylinder J-series engine that debuted in 2021. This engine delivers 20.2bhp of maximum power at 6,100rpm and 27Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm, and it is paired with a five-speed gearbox.
The front suspension system consists of 41 mm telescopic forks, while the rear suspension system consists of twin shock absorbers with a 6-step preload adjustment. The top-spec variants of the bike feature a 300mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The base trims include a 153mm drum brake at the back with single-channel ABS. The bike has 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels, with alloy wheels available on select variants.
Updated Royal Enfield Classic 350: Rivals
The current Royal Enfield Classic 350 has a starting price of Rs 1.93 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.24 lakh for the top-spec model. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. The updated Royal Enfield bike will likely cost a little more than the on-sale model.
In the 350cc class, the redesigned Classic 350 will rekindle competition with new and old models in the market such as the Honda CB350, H'ness 350, Jawa 350, and the Hunter 350.
