Kawasaki Z900

It appears that Kawasaki is determined to surprise its fans in February. A few days after introducing the redesigned Z650RS, the company has now released the 2024 Z900 in our market for Rs 9.29 lakh ex-showroom. The only difference is that you'll spend a few extra for practically the same Z900. Aside from that, the Kawasaki bike is identical to the previous model in every way. The competition for the Ducati Monster is now Rs 9,000 more expensive. It was originally priced at 9.20 lakh (ex-showroom).

As already stated, Kawasaki also launched the Z650RS for Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. Unlike the Z900, it does offer new features like a two-mode traction control system. The Eliminator, which retails for Rs 5.62 lakh (ex-showroom), was also introduced in India by the Japanese automaker this January.

Returning to the 2024 Kawasaki Z900, let's take a closer look at every aspect, including the features and engine.

2024 Kawasaki Z900: Design and Tech

With a bold fuel tank, a single-pod LED headlight, a high-tensile trellis frame, split seats, and a slender LED taillight, the Z900 boasts a powerful appearance. It gets Metallic Spark Black and Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey as two paint options. The BMW F900R competitor packs an impressive equipment list, which includes four riding modes- Sport, Road, Rain, and Rider, power modes, a coloured TFT screen with Bluetooth compatibility, ABS, and full-LED lighting.

2024 Kawasaki Z900: Engine and Hardware

The same 948cc in-line four-cylinder engine producing 123.6bhp and 98.6Nm, paired with a six-speed transmission, propels the new Z900. It's vital to note that this bike from Kawasaki does not have a quickshifter. The motorcycle’s suspension system consists of an adjustable inverted fork and a monoshock. The Z900 also has a single 250mm petal disc at the back and two 300mm petal discs at the front in addition to dual channel ABS for braking.

2024 Kawasaki Z900: Competitors

The Kawasaki bike's opponents in India include the BMW F900R, Triumph Street Triple 765, and Ducati Monster. With the same outstanding features and dominating road presence as the previous edition, it offers the finest value at a slight price increase.
