Hero MotoCorp has submitted a design patent application for a new motorcycle that appears to be a more aggressive version of the Karizma XMR. While the basic design looks almost identical to the conventional model, the bike, possibly called the Karizma XMR 250, seems to have its own personality, with distinguishing features such as a reworked fairing and winglets. Unlike the current Karizma XMR, this sportier version gets an upside-down fork configuration. The front fender, tail portion, and fuel tank are very similar to those of the Hero 2.5R Xtunt concept bike that was displayed at the 2023 EICMA event last year.
On a mechanical level, the upcoming Karizma XMR is expected to use a 250cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine derived from the 2.5R Xtunt concept, though Hero has not confirmed this. This unit could produce higher performance figures than the existing version (25.15bhp and 20.4Nm). For now, it is officially unknown, but the upcoming Karizma XMR with a bigger engine is likely to debut at the EICMA 2024 show in November. Let's take a closer look at the features and other specifications of the existing Karizma XMR.
