Bajaj Auto launched the existing Pulsar NS200 motorcycle in March last year, after which it introduced a new red colour scheme on the motorcycle. Now, the bikemaker has released a teaser, suggesting that the Pulsar NS200 will get significant updates to the current version. Based on the teaser, the visual changes will include a new LED headlamp (as opposed to a halogen unit), integrated LED daytime running lights, and LED turn indicators. Features-wise, the bike is expected to offer a digital display, with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call and message alerts. The display will be the same unit as the Pulsar N160 and the Pulsar N150. The updated switchgear is also likely. Considering these changes, the new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 will likely be more expensive than the existing bike, which retails at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.47 lakh.

New Bajaj Pulsar NS200: Suspension, Brakes

Other than that, the bike remains unchanged. In terms of hardware, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 features a perimeter frame, suspended by upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The braking hardware comprises a single 300mm disc at the front and a 230mm motor at the rear, assisted by dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. The discs come mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels.

New Bajaj Pulsar NS200: Engine

Powering the new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is the same 199cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The OBD2-compliant motor is capable of belting out 24.1bhp at 9,750rpm and 18.7Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm

New Bajaj Pulsar NS200: Price, Variant

As mentioned before, the new Pulsar NS200 is expected to be priced upwards of Rs 1.47 lakh, which is the ex-showroom price of the 2023 version. Speaking of which, Bajaj Auto launched the updated Pulsar NS200 along with the NS160

Available in a single configuration, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has direct rivals in the form of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Yamaha MT-15 V2. The colour options include Metallic Pearl White, Glossy Ebony Black, Satin Red, and Pewter Grey.

Bajaj Pulsar N150, N160 Updated for 2024

For the model year 2024, Bajaj updated the Pulsar N150 and the N160 with a new LCD dash with Bluetooth connectivity as well as a couple of hardware upgrades. While the entry-level Pulsar N150 retains the same digi-analogue cluster as before, the top variant of the bike now features a Bluetooth-enabled digital display enabling you to accept/reject calls and receive mobile notifications. Moreover, the new LCD also allows you to keep a tab on the distance travelled, gear position, speed, fuel efficiency, and so on. Another update to the sportier version of the P150 – the N150 – comes in the form of the introduction of a disc brake at the rear end. Meanwhile, the front end continues to come with a 260mm disc as well as a single-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS).

All in, the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N150 starts at Rs 1.18 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom). While the price of the base N150 remains unchanged, the base Pulsar N160 is now more expensive than its predecessor. Thanks to dual-channel ABS (as standard), the Pulsar N160 is now offered at a starting price of Rs 1.31 lakh (ex-showroom). At the top of the heap is the high-spec Pulsar N160 (Rs 1.33 lakh, ex-showroom), which features the same digital dash as the N150.
