Ather has updated its popular 450 electric scooter range in India with performance and safety features. The entry-level 450S is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh, while the Pro Pack option costs Rs 1.44 lakh. The Ather 450X, equipped with a 2.9kWh battery, starts at Rs 1.47 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.64 lakh with the Pro Pack. For the 3.7kWh battery variant, prices range from Rs 1.57 lakh (standard) to Rs 1.77 lakh (Pro Pack). The top-of-the-line 450 Apex, including the Pro Pack, is available for Rs 2 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom Bengaluru.
For 2025, the 450 electric scooter range comes with the new 'Eight70' warranty, including 8 years or 80,000 km of coverage, along with a guarantee of 70% battery health for the same period. Other key updates include the Ather Duo paired with the 450X 2.9kWh, (reducing the charging time from 0-80% to just 3 hours), and the inclusion of the Halo smart helmet with the 450 Apex. The 450 series now also offers two new colour options: Hyper Sand and Stealth Blue.

2025 Ather 450S, 450X, 450 Apex: What’s New?
Ather has added multi-mode traction control to the 450X and the 450 Apex for 2025. Riders now have access to three riding modes: Rally Mode for off-road excursions with controlled slip, Road Mode for regular use, and Rain Mode for added safety in wet or slippery conditions.
The 2025 Ather 450 now features multi-compound tyres, developed in collaboration with MRF. Additionally, the updated 450X is equipped with Magic Twist (the brand’s exclusive active regenerative braking system), a feature that was previously exclusive to the 450 Apex and Rizta Z. With this, the Ather 450X 3.7kWh (IDC Range 161 kilometres) and the 450 Apex (IDC Range 157 kilometres) now have a TrueRange of up to 130 kilometres. Moreover, the 450X 2.9kWh (IDC Range 126 kilometres) and Ather 450S (IDC Range 122 kilometres) have an improved TrueRange of up to 105 kilometres.
Ather has equipped its 450 series with the latest AtherStack 6 software, bringing new features like the ‘Ping My Scooter’ function and WhatsApp notifications directly on the dashboard.
