A few years ago, Classic Legends resurrected Jawa, and then, it brought back BSA Motorcycles. And now, Classic Legends is prepping to introduce Yezdi as a brand.
Yezdi is making a comeback as an individual brand; however, the back end operations will be handled by Classic Legends – the same company that overlooks Jawa Motorcycles. Now, Yezdi has officially teased its upcoming motorcycle on its social network handle in a very interesting manner. The teaser video gives a glimpse of the motorcycle’s silhouette with alphabets and binary codes, which conspicuously reminds you of the movie Matrix.
The launch of the new Yezdi motorcycle is likely to be held in January 2022. The first motorcycle from the brand will most likely be a modern classic, rivalling the Honda H’ness CB350, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa Classic, and Benelli Imperiale 400. We suspect that the brand will also bring back the ‘Roadking’ name tag from yesteryears.
The new motorcycle from Yezdi is likely to share its underpinnings with the Jawa Classic and Jawa Forty-Two. While the platform and engine parts are likely to be common between the two, the styling will be very different.
Just like the new Jawa, which has adopted the design cues of the old Jawa, the new Yezdi Roadking will follow the same philosophy and try to adopt the styling of the older Roadking.
But all these are just speculations. the details will be soon confirmed, as Yezdi has been spotted testing an adventure motorcycle, which leads us to believe that the Yezdi, as a brand, will make an aggressive comeback with a strong portfolio.
