Royal Enfield Bear 650

The bikemaker recently unveiled its newest 650cc offering, the Bear 650. The model showcases a Scrambler-inspired design and is built on the Interceptor 650 platform. It marks Royal Enfield's fifth model featuring the 648cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine. Available in five distinct colour options, this bike includes various features and aesthetic enhancements that differentiate it from its predecessor. The Bear 650 stands out with its scrambler-style seat, slightly elevated at the rear, and a number plate mounted on the side panels. It features new wheel sizes, MRF Nylorex off-road tyres, and all-LED lighting as standard.

Other notable bits comprise increased ground clearance of 184mm, shorter fenders, and LED turn signals. Additionally, the Bear 650 is equipped with the new circular TFT display found in the Guerrilla and Himalayan models. Although pricing has not been officially revealed, market speculation suggests that the new Bear 650 will be priced between Rs 3.40 lakh and Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Royal Enfield Electric Bike

With the introduction of its first electric motorcycle, Royal Enfield will headline the EICMA 2024. This new model is inspired by the Flying Flea, a bike famously used by British soldiers during World War II. The electric motorcycle will feature a retro design and, based on patent filings, is expected to include a girder fork, alloy wheels, a single-seat configuration, and a belt drive system. Its large battery pack is designed to provide a range of about 200-250 km. Although the electric bike is projected to debut in India next year, more specifics will be revealed at EICMA.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 650

Royal Enfield is set to make waves by introducing the powerful Himalayan 650. Tailored for off-road riding, this bike will boast significant upgrades, including refined front forks, a rear monoshock suspension, a stylish swept-up exhaust, and a revamped seat design. The engine of the Himalayan 650 is anticipated to produce higher torque levels, similar to those found in the Bear 650. The test prototype also featured a dual-disc brake setup at the front. Motorcycling fans can expect its debut at the Motoverse 2024.

Royal Enfield Bullet 650

Royal Enfield is developing a 650cc variant of the Bullet, which could hit the market by mid-2025. Recently, the Bullet 650 was spotted in a production-ready form, with reports suggesting that it will share the same chassis as the Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650. The latest spy shots showcase an all-black motorcycle that retains the classic Bullet aesthetic, featuring elements like a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a squared rear fender, a single-piece seat, a round tail light, and recognisable circular turn signals. It also sports a familiar fork assembly, pilot lights, and side boxes. Emphasising its traditional appearance, the bike incorporates spoked wheels and a clean design, capitalising on the strong market recognition of the Bullet name.

The bike will be powered by the proven 648cc parallel-twin engine that Royal Enfield uses in its other models. This oil-cooled engine delivers a maximum output of 46.4bhp and peak torque of 52.3Nm. This unit is paired with a six-speed transmission.
