Bengaluru-based Ultraviolette (UV) has announced a price increase for its flagship electric product, the F77 Mach 2. While the price of the regular Mach 2 will remain the same, at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.99 lakh, the top-spec Recon variant will become expensive by 5 per cent (or roughly Rs 4.19 lakh) starting January 1, 2025. The latter is currently available at Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The company has cited rising input costs and evolving market dynamics for the increase. Alongside, UV has also announced end-of-the-year discounts of up to Rs 14,000 on both variants of the electric motorcycle. The discounts shall be valid till December 31, 2024.
