The TVS Raider 125 surpassed the sales mark of 3 lakh units in India. The bike entered our market on September 16, 2021, and within over 19 months, it has achieved a sales milestone. According to the industry reports, the Raider 125 bike is following the well-liked product of the TVS - NTorq in terms of sales. Within over 19 months, the firm dispatched a total of 3,16,130 units domestically as of the end of March 2023. It includes 2,39,388 units in FY2023 and 76,742 units in the final seven months of FY2022. According to the firm, the Raider had a 26% share in the total sales of 9,10,376 motorcycles in FY2023. TVS Raider 125: Key Highlights
There could be several reasons behind the surging sales of the TVS Raider 125 in India. One of them is being the only model aside from the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 in the 125cc motorcycle category to offer the monoshock in our market. Another factor, which may have boosted the sales of the bike is its athletic-looking design. According to the firm, it offers more sportiness as compared to its competitors' conservative looks, which could be a significant factor in its sales volume. In October 2022, TVS Motor Company introduced a top-spec version of the Raider 125 featuring a 5-inch TFT cluster. For those unaware, the base Raider 125 model has a digital LCD display. The carmaker launched the top-spec variant with a range of modern connectivity tech features.
Speaking of the powertrain, the motorcycle has a 124.8cc engine, capable of churning out 11.2bhp and 11.2Nm. For transmission, it employs a five-speed gearbox. According to the company, the motorcycle can go from a standstill to 60km/h in 5.9 seconds and has a top speed of 99km/h.

TVS Motor Company April Sales 2023
The total sales of the TVS increased to 3,06,224 units in April 2023, as against the 2,95,308 units at the same time in 2022, which is a gain of 4%. Additionally, compared to April 2022, the total two-wheeler sales rose by 5% to 2,94,786 units last month, with domestic sales growing by 23% to 2,32,956 units from 1,80,553 units. In the export segment, the company announced shipping 71,663 units in the last month, compared to 113,427 units in April 2022. It further reported that the two-wheeler exports, however, totaled 61,830 units, down from 99,489 units the same month last year, representing a 37.85% YoY decrease.
