TVS has announced a reduction in the price of the Ntorq 125’s top-spec XT variant in India. The variant, which was launched at Rs 1.03 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, now costs Rs 97,061, reflecting a reduction of Rs 5,000.
One speculated reason for the price cut is the massive price difference of Rs 13,000 between the XT and the Race XP trim. After the price revision, the gap has been reduced to Rs 8,000.
The XT variant is the latest addition to the Ntorq portfolio. It comes with a bunch of additional features, including a dual-screen, which comprises an LCD and a TFT screen. This setup also gets the TVS SmartXonnect system, which allows you to pair your smartphone via Bluetooth.
The Ntorq 125 XT variant is also equipped with SmartXtalk and SmartXtrack functions. While the former is an advanced voice assistance system, the latter gives notifications on weather, news, cricket, and social media, among others. Design-wise, the XT variant differs only in terms of a distinguishing paint scheme. Unlike other variants, Ntorq 125's XT comes in a Neon Green paint scheme and sporty graphics on its body panels.
The scooter is powered by the same 124.8cc engine that produces 9.25bhp and 10.5Nm of torque. The fuel tank can hold 5.8 litres of petrol, and the scooter weighs 116kgs.
