TVS Motors has reported that the company has shipped over 1,00,000 units of two-wheelers in the month of March. TVS Apache, TVS HLX series, and TVS Stryker series have been the key highlight of the export. TVS has a presence in 60 countries that include Subcontinents of India, South East Asia, Central and Latin America. TVS Motors plans on entering the European and North American market as well.
TVS Motors has further announced that the company will commence operations of Norton Motorcycles by the second quarter of 2021, at its Solihull factory in England. The Solihull production facility is currently in the final stages of construction. TVS acquired Norton Motorcycles in April 2020 for Rs 153 crore (GBP16 million).
In other news, TVS also plans to bring an updated 2021 RR310 fully-faired motorcycle later this month. The updates are likely to be fully adjustable suspensions on either end of the motorcycle. A very similar trait to what is observed in the smaller capacity - TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. This update is likely to bump up the price marginally and could make the motorcycle furthermore feature-rich when compared to the rivals such as the KTM RC390, and the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300.
