TVS iQube Electric Surpasses 1.50 Lakh Units Sales Milestone
TVS Motor Company has achieved the domestic sales milestone of 1.5 lakh iQube electric scooters in only 43 months after the scooter's introduction in January 2020. The Indian motorbike maker claims that as of this year July 22, they had sold 1,54,263 iQube electric scooters. For an electric product, reaching this benchmark in India after more than three and a half years (or 43 months) is an impressive achievement for the firm.
While TVS has yet to provide July 2023 sales results, the VAHAN database shows that 7,111 units were sold by the 22nd of the month. The bike manufacturer's overall sales were 1,47,192 units as of June 30, 2023, well under the 1.50 lakh units sales threshold.
Sales increased because of enhancements made to the company's iQube product range. In case you were wondering, the iQube is available in three different variants: Standard, S, and ST. Due to the reduction of the Fame II subsidy, the base model iQube now costs Rs 1.23 lakh, while the iQube S version goes for Rs 1.38 lakh (on road-Delhi).
