The bike is available in two main variants, with three Built To Order (BTO) customisation options that can increase its price to nearly Rs 3.20 lakh. The TVS Apache RR 310 has always been known for its impressive features, and the 2024 model continues this tradition. This latest version now includes a bidirectional quick-shifter and cruise control, standard on all but the base variant. TVS has raised the bar by offering a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as part of the Dynamic Kit, priced at Rs18,000. For an additional Rs 16,000, the Dynamic Pro Kit adds RT-DSC (Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control), which brings advanced features like cornering ABS, cornering traction control, cornering cruise control, wheelie control, slope-dependent control, and rear lift-off control. These features are all accessible through the 5-inch TFT display, which also supports TVS’ SmartXonnect, enabling Bluetooth connectivity for navigation, calls, messages, and notifications.
The KTM RC 390, in contrast, remains focused on delivering a pure racing experience. It does not come with multiple ride modes or cruise control. However, it is equipped with a 6-axis IMU that enables features like traction control, cornering ABS, and a Supermoto mode, which disables rear-wheel ABS to allow sliding and locking through corners. While the bike features a fully digital TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, it does not offer turn-by-turn navigation, providing only basic call, SMS, and notification alerts instead.

Both the TVS Apache RR 310 and KTM RC 390 feature a split trellis frame, paired with USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Both bikes also come with disc brakes at the front and rear, but the KTM RC 390 has a larger 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc, while the TVS Apache RR 310 uses a 300mm front disc and a slightly larger 240mm rear disc. The KTM’s disc brakes are lighter, improving unsprung mass and making the bike more agile compared to the petal discs on the TVS. However, the TVS offers a Built To Order (BTO) customisation option, including adjustable KYB front and rear suspension in the Dynamic Kit for an additional Rs 18,000.
