Triumph Motorcycles has issued a recall for the Tiger Sport 660 and the Trident 660 in America. The recall is due to a machine fault in which the front fork caps were improperly machined, leading to ragged threads that could cause the caps to separate from the fork tube. As a result, the rider may encounter a mishap. While there's no official update, industry reports state that the latest recall involves approximately 107 bikes (produced between April and May of 2022) that require replacement. The recall particularly addresses the Trident 660 units made between April 28, 2022, and May 18, 2022, as well as the Tiger Sport 660 units manufactured between May 5, 2022, and May 24, 2022.
It is essential to note that the recall is currently limited in China and America. As of yet, there has been no announcement for India. Owners of the concerned models in China and America have been informed of the recent recall. According to industry reports, Triumph will repair the damaged fork caps free of cost.
