Triumph TF 450-RC Motocross Bike Globally Unveiled

The Triumph TF 450-RC, developed with insights from motocross legend Ricky Carmichael and world enduro champion Iván Cervantes, is powered by a 450cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine.

Triumph Motorcycles has introduced the TF 450-RC Edition, a 450cc motocross bike developed with racer Ricky Carmichael. This follows the release of last year’s 250cc model and aims to strengthen Triumph’s place in the motocross market. According to Triumph, the TF 450-RC is designed for both professional racers and casual riders, offering a strong balance of power and agility. Triumph says the bike has the best power-to-weight ratio in its class. With input from Carmichael, the TF 450-RC is set to compete with brands like KTM, Honda, and Yamaha.

Triumph TF 450-RC Edition: Features

The Triumph TF 450-RC Edition has a strong yet lightweight chassis with an aluminium spine, twin-cradle frame, and swingarm for great handling and stability. It features a premium suspension setup with a 48mm USD fork offering 310mm of travel up front and a fully adjustable KYB monoshock at the rear with 305mm of travel, designed for various motocross terrains.

Braking is handled by Brembo callipers and master cylinders, paired with Galfer discs for reliable performance. The bike also comes with D.I.D DirtStar rims and Dunlop Geomax MX34 tires, ensuring strong traction and durability for off-road riding.

The TF 450-RC has a 450cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with forged aluminium pistons, titanium valves, and diamond-like carbon rockers. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox, Dellorto throttle body, and an Athena engine management system.

Deliveries will start in February, but Triumph will not launch the bike in India due to low demand.
