Triumph Speed 400 has been finally launched in India at Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom) but will be available for Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 buyers, while the Scrambler 400X price will be announced later. Bajaj Auto will manufacture these motorcycles in their Pune plant, which made their global debut in London a few days ago. Customers in India may book any of the two Triumph motorcycles for only Rs 2,000 via Triumph India's website. While the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X appeal to distinct audiences for numerous factors, they both include over 25 genuine accessories that improve everything from style to comfort to usefulness to safety. Triumph asserts that all of their motorcycle parts and accessories are designed in conjunction with the motorcycles in order to provide an ideal fit. Now that these two motorcycles have finally been launched in India, let's take a closer look at their features, specs, and styling.

Triumph Speed 400, Scrambler 400X: Design and Dimensions
The new Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X have a stylish design. The Speed Twin 900 and the Speed 400 share certain visual cues, while the latter being noticeably more modern and sleek in appearance. It's worth noting that the suspension travel of the Scrambler 400X and the Speed 400 are identical. Redesigned exhaust, all-terrain tyres, and detachable seats are just a few of the new features on the Scrambler 400X that are different from that of the Speed 400.
The two motorcycles are also quite distinct in size. The Scrambler 400X's wheelbase is 1,418mm but the Speed 400's is just 1,377mm. Additionally, the seat height also varies. The Scrambler 400X is 45mm higher than the Speed 400, coming in at 835mm as opposed to 790mm.
Triumph Speed 400, Scrambler 400X: Features
Both bikes come standard with features such as all-LED headlamps, a USB Type-C charging port, a semi-digital instrument cluster, switchable traction control, dual-channel ABS, assist clutch and traction control system. In addition to the small LCD screen, each motorcycle also has an analogue speedometer. There is a digital tachometer, gear position indicator, trip computer, and fuel metre.
Seeing a sign for a heated grip raises questions about whether or not the British manufacturer will provide this as an extra. The dual-channel ABS on the Scrambler can be switched to an off-road mode if the owner so chooses.
Triumph Speed 400, Scrambler 400X: Engine & Gearbox
Both of these bikes are powered by Triumph's new TR-series engine. The 398cc, liquid-cooled engine has a dual overhead camshaft configuration. While the KTM 390 and the Triumph TR series produce 39.5bhp and 37.5Nm of torque, the Triumphs achieve their peak output earlier in the rev range. Both Triumph motorcycles share a 6-speed gearbox.

Triumph Speed 400, Scrambler 400X: Accessories
Soft panniers, semi-rigid and rigid top box options, and a nylon bag are all available for the Scrambler 400X and the Speed 400. You may attach a roll-top bag to the rear luggage rack. Both the Scrambler 400 X and the Speed 400 come standard with a mud-splash kit that comprises front mud-guard extenders, aluminium sump guards, and upper and lower engine shields to protect the motorcycle from mud and debris.
Other than the usual LED lights, owners of the Scramble 400 X and the Speed 400 may also purchase indicators of a different style. Quilted seats and windscreens are among the possible extras.
Knee pads and tank cuts are not optional on the Scrambler 400 X, although they are on the Speed 400. Scrambler double-barrel exhaust systems are also available as an accessory for the Speed 400.

As previously mentioned, the Triumph Speed 400 has a starting price of Rs Rs 2.33 lakh while the Scrambler 400X price will be announced later. Booking for these two premium motorcycles have already started on Triumph India’s website. Triumph's latest offerings will face fierce competition from the likes of the KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R, Honda CB300R, Yezdi Scrambler, Royal Enfield Scram 411 and Honda CB350RS.
