Triumph India has introduced a new Pearl Metallic White colour option for the Scrambler 400X. The new hue contrasts with the black stripe that runs from top to bottom on the fuel tank. It enhances the bike's appearance by complementing the brown seats and the blackened exhaust pipe, which spans from the headers to the tailpipe. Aside from the new paint option, the bike remains unchanged. For the uninitiated, the update on the Scrambler 400X update follows the introduction of the new Speed T4 and Speed 400 last month. The Speed T4, priced at 2.17 lakh (ex-showroom), is a competitor in the 350–500cc retro-styled motorcycle segment. It has the Speed 400's chassis but replaces the inverted front forks with traditional telescopic ones for a more vintage appearance. Its most significant upgrades include a new seat and a remodeled fuel tank with fresh artwork.

The revised Speed 400, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 15,000 higher than the previous model. It features new colour options and a few minor enhancements.
Coming back to the Scrambler 400X, here are some of its main features.
Triumph Scrambler 400X: Specifications
The Scrambler 400X is propelled by a 398.15cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that develops 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm at 6.500rpm, and comes mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slip-and-assist clutch. The bike sports a hybrid spine/tubular perimeter frame, suspended by a gas-charged monoshock with a remote reservoir and a 43mm inverted Big Piston Fork, both of which provide 150mm of wheel travel. It makes use of a ByBre 230mm disc at the back and a 300mm disc with a radial calliper in the front for braking. The motorcycle has 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. Other notable features are a standard USB-C port, an engine immobiliser, a semi-analogue instrument cluster, traction control, and switchable ABS.
