Triumph's latest offering, the Scrambler 400 X, competes in the Indian market with other popular vehicles in the category, such as the Yezdi Scrambler, the Royal Enfield Scram 411, and the KTM Adventure 390 X. The Scrambler 400 X costs Rs 2.63 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available for the pre-order at Rs 10,000. The Yezdi Scrambler costs Rs 2.12 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and weighs 192 kg, which is heavier than the Scrambler 400 X's 179 kg. Triumph Scrambler 400 X vs Yezdi Scrambler: Engine
The Triumph motorcycle is powered by a 398.15cc liquid-cooled engine that delivers 39.5bhp and 37.5Nm of performance figures. It also has a 6-speed transmission with a slip-and-assist clutch. The Yezdi Scrambler, on the other hand, runs on a 334cc single-cylinder motor that cranks out 28.7bhp and 28.2Nm. When compared to the Yezdi Scrambler, the Triumph bike unquestionably has a major advantage in terms of engine size, as well as power and torque.

The two Scrambler motorcycles from different manufacturers have off-road capabilities and a few stylistic elements in common, like broad handlebars, rounded LED headlamps, teardrop-shaped fuel tanks, and handlebar guards. Triumph's model is available in three dual-tone colour schemes: black/silver, red/black, and green/white. The 2023 Yezdi Scrambler, on the other hand, is available in seven distinct colours (single and dual-tone). The Scrambler 400 X is fitted with gas-charged monoshocks with pre-load adjustability in the back and 43mm upside-down Big Piston forks in the front. The Triumph model's braking system is composed of a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc. There is also a switchable dual-channel ABS for extra safety.

The Yezdi bike comes with twin shock absorbers at the back that can be adjusted for pre-load, along with 41mm telescopic front forks. The bike's braking equipment consists of a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc. Also, the ABS is switchable.
