Triumph Motorcycles, in June 2023, took off the wraps on their brand-new Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X, and now the British motorcycle manufacturer is all set to launch the Scrambler 400 X in October in the Indian market, probably in the middle of the month. After the Speed 400, the Scrambler 400 X will be the next product born out of a collaboration between Bajaj and Triumph and will be manufactured in India at Bajaj Auto's Chakan-2 facility in Maharashtra. Speaking of the Triumph Speed 400, it is considered the brand's most affordable motorcycle currently on sale in the domestic market. Powering the Speed 400 is a 398cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that cranks out 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The same motor will find its way into the Scrambler 400 X and will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox, accompanied by a slip and assist clutch.
