Triumph Rocket 3 Evel Knievel Edition: Design Details
The Triumph Rocket 3 is available in two trims, each catering to different riding preferences. The Rocket 3 R emphasises a streamlined and minimalist roadster design. At the same time, the Rocket 3 GT adopts a cruiser-oriented setup with a taller windscreen, forward-positioned foot pegs, and a pillion grab rail to enhance comfort during long-distance rides.

Notably, the iconic stuntman carried out many of his awe-inspiring stunts on the Triumph T120 Bonneville, a motorcycle equipped with a 650cc parallel-twin engine producing approximately 46bhp of maximum power. The Evel Knievel edition is a tribute to the iconic stuntman’s daring persona and distinctive style.
While Knievel never performed stunts on a Rocket, these limited-edition models embody his legacy through bold visuals inspired by his legendary jumpsuit. Highlights include a chrome-finished fuel tank featuring black stripes, stars, the Triumph logo, and Knievel’s signature engraved on a gold cam cover plate. A custom start-up animation and a commemorative hardback book about his career and connection to Triumph are also included, along with details of his stunts and the motorcycles he rode.
Triumph Rocket 3 Evel Knievel Edition: Engine Specs, Features, and More
The Evel Knievel Limited Edition is powered by the same 2,458cc inline three-cylinder engine found in the standard Rocket 3, generating 180bhp of maximum power at 7,000rpm and 255Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. It comes equipped with a six-speed transmission. Both variants have Brembo Stylema callipers and twin 320mm discs on the front wheel, while the rear features a Brembo M4.32 four-piston radial monobloc calliper paired with a 300mm disc. Suspension is managed by a fully adjustable Showa monoshock with a piggyback reservoir at the rear and 47mm forks at the front, offering adjustable rebound and compression damping.
When it comes to features, the bike boasts standard amenities such as traction control, four selectable riding modes, keyless ignition, ride-by-wire throttle, cruise control, lean-sensitive ABS, and hill hold assist. For added customisation, buyers can opt for a bi-directional quick-shifter and choose from over 50 official Triumph accessories.

The standard Rocket 3 R and GT models are listed at Rs 21.99 lakh and Rs 22.59 lakh, respectively. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. However, given that only 500 units of the Evel Knievel edition are being manufactured globally, it is improbable that this exclusive variant will make its way to the Indian market.
