Triumph has officially unveiled the Daytona 660, marking the third addition to the 660 cc triple platform, joining the Trident 660 and the Tiger Sport 660 – both already available in the Indian market. In an effort to make their bikes more accessible and affordable, Triumph went with a 660 cc engine platform. The bike is priced at £8,595 (about Rs 9.08 lakh).
With its more relaxed rider triangle, the new Daytona 660 stands out from its predecessor as a fully-faired motorcycle. A departure from the original 675's uncompromising nature, this bike features a much sportier riding position with clip-on handlebars mounted above the fork tops and moderately high footpegs. Rider comfort and performance are prioritised in this deliberate design choice.
Triumph Daytona 660: Design
The design of the Daytona 660 is definitely inspired by the older ‘675’ model. Triumph has gone for clean lines and a more rounded, curved look rather than the supersport being outright edgy. The front end gets twin LED headlights with a central air intake. The overall stance is athletic, and the motorcycle will be offered in three colour options, including a ‘660’ race-inspired graphic.

The motorcycle has an aggressive stance up front with a central air intake and dual LED headlamps on either side. A '660' race-inspired design will be offered on one of the three colour options for the Daytona 660.
