EICMA 2024, one of the world’s most prominent motorcycle exhibitions, saw the unveiling of several exciting adventure bikes (ADVs) that are set to make waves in the coming year. Among the standout models were the KTM 390 Adventure R, designed for off-road enthusiasts with enhanced features, and the Hero Xpulse 210, offering a more accessible yet capable option for adventure riding. Additionally, BMW showcased its F 450 GS Concept, which hints at the future of its adventure lineup. These bikes, along with several others, highlight the growing demand for rugged and versatile motorcycles built for both on-road and off-road exploration. The event also brought forward other innovative ADVs, promising thrilling adventures for riders in 2025 and beyond.

At the front, the bike is equipped with a horseshoe-shaped LED daytime running light and adjustable upside-down forks. Below the headlamp cluster, you will find twin auxiliary lights. Other design elements include a robust fuel tank with sharp extensions, a single-piece seat, a high-mounted fender that resembles a beak, a metal sump guard, and a striking orange-white-black paint job, similar to the one found on the 890 Adventure R. It is powered by 390 Duke's liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, producing 45bhp and 39Nm. Furthermore, the bike gets 230mm of suspension travel and 21-18-inch wire-spoke wheels.
Hero Xpulse 210
The Hero Xpulse has been a favoured option in India, though it lacked a bit of extra power. The most notable update comes in the form of a 210cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC single-cylinder engine from the Karizma XMR, producing 24.26bhp and 20.7Nm. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, featuring a slipper and assist clutch.
While the overall shape of the Xpulse 210 remains similar to the previous model, it receives several design updates for a more modern appearance. The front mudguard has been redesigned with sharper lines, and the iconic round LED headlamp remains, now topped with a clear visor and accompanied by LED turn signals. The model has a tubular handlebar, a single-piece seat, wider fuel tank covers, a taller windscreen, a more compact exhaust, and a new taillamp. In terms of features, the Xpulse 210 gets a new 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth support. It has long-travel telescopic front forks with 210mm of travel and a rear monoshock with 205mm of travel. For braking, the bike is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear, along with dual-channel ABS.
BMW F 450 GS Concept
Currently, in its concept phase, the BMW F 450 GS resembles a more compact version of the R 1300 GS. It features a 48bhp twin-cylinder engine and long-travel suspension, making it an appealing option for adventure riders once it hits production.
The F 450 GS concept borrows key design elements from BMW's larger models, featuring a quad-element LED DRL at the front. Its semi-fairing, tall windscreen, and integrated beak give it a production-ready look. Design highlights include the Classic White, Blue, and Red colour scheme, a rear luggage rack, knuckle guards, a rally-style single-piece seat, and an Akrapovic exhaust. The bike also incorporates advanced features such as lean-angle-dependent ABS Pro, a high-performance braking system, and adjustable riding modes. Moreover, it offers BMW Connectivity with a 6.5-inch TFT display and smartphone pairing. Weighing approximately 175 kg, the model houses a fully adjustable golden USD front fork and a rear monoshock with load-dependent damping. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cross-spoke wheels.
Aprilia Tuareg 660 Rally
Aprilia revealed the 2025 Tuareg 660 Rally, a road-legal model inspired by its race bike, built for intense off-road riding. While it keeps the 659cc parallel-twin engine from the standard Tuareg 660, several upgrades have been made to boost its performance and off-road capability. The bike now features a new ECU and larger 52mm throttle bodies, replacing the earlier 48mm units, which improve fuel efficiency and help meet Euro 5+ emission standards. Despite these changes, the power output remains the same at 80bhp. Additionally, the Rally version benefits from a custom engine map for quicker throttle response. The exhaust system is upgraded to a full titanium SC-Project unit as standard.

For suspension, the 2025 model has a 43mm Kayaba fork with 240mm of travel and single-rate springs, offering a firmer and more predictable ride compared to the standard Tuareg. The seat height is increased by 20mm to 880mm, providing a higher riding position, and the handlebar is raised with reinforced handguards for added protection.
