Hero MotoCorp
Despite a YoY decline of 5.68%, Hero MotoCorp maintained its market-leading position with 4,79,450 units sold in May 2024. As of May 2024, the company's market share stood at 31.02%. The automaker offers a range of scooters and motorcycles in our market, including the Pleasure Plus XTEC, the Xtreme 125R, and the Karizma XMR.
Honda
With an impressive year-over-year growth of 44.82%, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India was the second best-selling two-wheeler brand in India last month. It delivered 4,50,589 units in May 2024 compared to 3,11,144 units in May 2023. The company claimed a 29.15% market share. The Honda's Indian lineup consists of the Shine 100, the Dio, the Activa 6G, and the Hornet 2.0.
TVS
TVS is next on the list, with a 7.30% year-on-year gain. In May 2024, the company sold 2,71,140 units, up from 2,52,690 in the same period the previous year. It had a market share of 17.54%. The manufacturer's product line in India includes the Radeon, the Jupiter, and the Apache RTR 160.
Bajaj
Bajaj Auto ranked fourth on the list of top-selling two-wheeler manufacturer in India in May 2024. It delivered 1,88,340 units last month, down 3.32% year-on-year from 1,94,811 units sold in May 2023. The company's current market share was 12.18%. It offers a variety of two-wheelers in India, including the Platina 100, Chetak, and Pulsar NS400Z. The company is set to introduce its first CNG motorcycle in the country on July 17.

Suzuki Motorcycle India recorded a 37.28% YoY rise in May 2024, selling 92,032 units. Its market share stood at 5.95%. The company's Indian portfolio consists of two-wheelers like the Access 125, the V-Strom SX, and the Hayabusa.
