Suzuki Gixxer, SF & Access 125 become BS IV compliant

Suzuki Motorcycles has officially launched BS IV compliant models of its Gixxer and Gixxer SF 154.9cc motorcycles. The Gixxer uses a carbureted engine while the SF model also comes with fuel injection.

Suzuki updates the Gixxer, Gixxer SF and Access 125 with BS IV complaint engines and Auto Headlamp On feature.

Suzuki Motorcycles has officially launched BS IV compliant models of its Gixxer and Gixxer SF 154.9cc motorcycles. The Gixxer uses a carbureted engine while the SF model also comes with fuel injection. Along with the BS IV engine upgrade the rear drum brake version of the Suzuki Gixxer is available in Glass Sparkle Black shade while the rear disc brake version is available in Glass Sparkle Black as well as dual tone shades of Pearl Mira Red & Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Triton Blue & Glass Sparkle Black. The drum brake version is priced at Rs. 77,452 while the disc brake version retails at Rs. 80,528 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Meanwhile the faired Suzuki Gixxer SF is available with a carbureted engine as well as fuel injected engine. The carb model is on sale in Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matt Black and Pearl Mira Red while the fuel injected version is on offer in Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matt Black colours. The Suzuki Gixxer SF carb retails at Rs. 89,659 while the Gixxer SF Fi is priced at Rs. 93,499 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Suzuki Access 125 is also now BS IV compliant, the drum brake version has been priced at Rs. 54,302 while the disc brake model Rs. 57,615 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is available in a new Metallic Sonic Silver.

The upgraded BS IV engines remain the same otherwise on the specifications front. Apart from cleaner emissions, the entire Suzuki two-wheeler range will get Auto Headlamp On feature to comply with new two-wheeler regulations being enforced by the Government from the April 1, 2017.

In order to provide our customers with environment friendly technology in line with the latest regulations, these vehicles now comply with BS-IV and also feature AHO. We are also refreshing this range with new colour & graphic variants. For the New Access, the Metallic Sonic Silver is aimed at the fashion conscious customers who are looking for more options in terms of modern styling. The Gixxer and Gixxer SF 2017 variants will appeal to the young rider who wants to make a style statement on their mean machines. We are confident that these new colours will find universal appeal and further propel our growth in their respective segments."
