Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the OBD2-A and E20-compliant Access 125, the Avenis, and the Burgman Street range in India. According to the manufacturer, these two-wheelers can run on an ethanol blend of up to 20%. The new scooter line's engines will be the first in the company's lineup to adhere to OBD2-A standards. According to the firm, the OBD2-A version, known as the onboard diagnostics system, will be beneficial in identifying system failures and turning on the console lights in the event of any faults in the vehicle system. This new initiative of the firm supports eco-friendly mobility solutions. Suzuki claims that its goal is to gradually make every product in its line compatible with E20 fuel. The company, according to reports, strives to reduce its carbon footprint and promote eco-friendly solutions. In keeping with the same, it has launched its range of scooters at different prices that are E20-fuel compliant.

Sharing his thoughts on the launch, Mr. Devashish Handa, Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing and After Sales, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd. stated, “Suzuki’s powerful 125cc engine which delivers high performance and has been ruling riders’ hearts is now E20 (petrol with 20 percent ethanol) and OBD2-A compliant.''
He further added ''We plan to gradually make our entire product portfolio compatible with E20 fuel. This is a part of our commitment to reducing the carbon footprint for cleaner and greener tomorrow.”
Apart from this, the Suzuki Avenis in Metallic Sonic Silver/Metallic Triton Blue and the Burgman Street in Pearl Matte Shadow Green colours have also been introduced by the firm.
