Simple Energy is ready to roll out its all-electric One scooter in India tomorrow. According to the official announcement, the maker of electric two-wheelers is also preparing to start deliveries of the Simple One soon after the launch. The Bangalore-based EV start-up claims that because the last pricing announcement was two years ago, it took that long to create the e-scooter in order to guarantee the safety of its battery pack. The outcome is that the electric scooter conforms with the updated Automotive Industry Standards (AIS) 156 that the Government of India adopted in response to multiple complaints as well as videos and pictures of two-wheeler EVs catching fire. In August 2021, the company unveiled its first product. It was, however, uncertain when the Simple One will be launched until a few weeks ago. The scooter has undergone several modifications during the previous two years. There are a few visual tweaks and technological improvements compared to what was displayed in 2021. Here's what all you can expect the launch-ready scooter to offer.
