Adding to the excitement around the EV segment, Bengaluru-based Simple Energy has announced its plans to launch two new electric scooters in the Indian market. The upcoming electric scooters will sit below the company's flagship product - the Simple One - and therefore will be priced quite reasonably. In addition to making these scooters more accessible to Indian buyers, the manufacturer aims to address the issue of range anxiety, which builds up as the battery depletes and the available range begins to shrink. As far as safety is concerned, the battery packs offered with the flagship offering and two new models meet the highest safety standards - making Simple the only brand to offer the safest and most affordable electric scooters in India.
The Simple One starts at Rs 1.45 lakh in India, while the upcoming scooters are anticipated to be priced between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 1.2 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom. In the coming quarter, these electric scooters will arrive on our shores, according to Simple.
