Simple Energy, a Bengaluru-based EV startup, has launched its new electric scooter in the Indian market, dubbed the Dot One. Priced at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom) exclusively for Bengaluru customers who had pre-booked the two-wheeler, the Simple Dot One is much more affordable than the Simple One (Rs 1.58 lakh as per the company's website). However, the price is introductory and is valid until stocks last. For those looking to buy the scooter, the company has opened the booking window for the scooter, with the launch price for subsequent customers to be announced in January next year.
