We know that Royal Enfield is working toward bringing an update to the existing Interceptor 650 model. The test mule spotted last month had dual front discs with axially mounted brake callipers and now, the latest set of spy images of the semi-faired bike – likely to be based on the Continental GT 650 – has surfaced online, revealing a similar dual-disc setup. Interestingly, this half-faired model will likely be the first Royal Enfield to feature a bigger 750cc engine, which is expected to debut in the next two to three years. With an increased displacement capacity, the engine could see a 5–7bhp bump in power compared to the existing 648cc, parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 47bhp and 52Nm of peak torque. It is also possible that the company may replace the Continental GT 650 with the new 750cc semi-faired motorcycle.

Royal Enfield 750cc Bike: Design, Features
Going by spy shots, the 750cc bike has a cafe racer-like bikini fairing, as well as clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs granting a sporty riding position. There is also a long seat, a signature circular LED headlamp, and a round underseat panel. The test bike seems to roll on alloy wheels with Vredestein's Centauro ST tyres. Also present is a black exhaust. In terms of instrumentation, the 750cc cafe racer is seen featuring a single-pod digital panel, likely to be a TFT unit derived from the Bear 650. While the test mule sports a traditional telescopic fork setup, expect the company to offer the premium upside-down setup with the higher-end 750cc bikes. Further details are expected to be revealed in due course.
