Royal Enfield has silently raised the prices of the Super Meteor 650 by Rs 5,000 across all the versions in India. It is the first price hike on the model after its launch in our market. The bikemaker introduced the flagship motorcycle in the country in January of this year. After the price revision, the motorcycle costs between Rs 3.54 lakh to Rs 3.84 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. In a recent development, Royal Enfield disclosed its sales figures for April 2023. It sold 73,136 motorcycles in the previous month as opposed to 62,155 units at the same time the year before, which is a YoY increase of 18%. This April, the bike manufacturer claimed growth in the domestic market. It shipped 68,881 units last month domestically, up from 53,852 units in April 2022, registering a 28% growth. However, in exports, the bike manufacturer saw a drop in sales. It dispatched 4,255 units internationally in April 2023 compared to 8,303 units during the same month the year earlier. There is no official confirmation, however, market reports claim that the Super Meteor 650 was one of the models to contribute in the YoY sales growth of the company last month. Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Engine, Hardware & More Details
The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is driven by a 650cc parallel-twin, air & oil-cooled fuel-injected engine, which is capable of offering 46.3 bhp of peak power output and 52.3 Nm of maximum torque. A 6-speed manual gearbox does the duty of transmission on this motorcycle. It is the heaviest model offered by the bikemaker at 241 kg.

As far as hardware goes, the motorcycle features dual rear spring-loaded shock absorbers and 43mm USD front forks up front. At either end, disc brakes are used for braking. Also, it has dual-channel ABS as standard. In addition, the Super Meteor 650 is the only motorcycle of the brand to come with the Tripper navigation pod as standard.
