A production-ready Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 has been spotted testing in India before its possible debut at the company's annual biking festival in November 2024. It features a round LED headlight, a quilted seat, a two-in-one exhaust, an inverted fork, and an elevated and braced handlebar. Based on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, the upcoming Scrambler is expected to be called Interceptor Bear 650, though an official confirmation is still pending. It will come in a variety of vibrant colour options, including dual-tone and monotone hues. In the spy images, the test mule seems to have a black body with a red fuel tank. Read on for more information on the upcoming 650cc Royal Enfield Scrambler.

Royal Enfield Scrambler 650: Engine

The motorcycle will feature a 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel twin engine, similar to other 650cc Royal Enfield models such as the Interceptor, Continental GT, and Super Meteor. For now, there's no confirmation but Royal Enfield could alter the bike's gearing and engine mapping to match the nature of the Scrambler.

Royal Enfield Scrambler 650: Other Highlights

The new Scrambler is expected to feature 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels with Knobby tyres. It will have USD front forks and dual rear shock absorbers for suspension. At both ends, there will be disc brakes. The bike is likely to have dual-channel ABS as standard. Though there is no official announcement, the upcoming scrambler is expected to be offered in two variants, just like the new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450. The top-spec version will likely include a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and Google Maps navigation, similar to the new Himalayan. The lower-spec variant, in contrast, will probably feature a semi-digital instrument console found in the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.
