The Scram 440 is powered by a 443cc engine, which builds upon the previous 411cc motor, now featuring a 3mm larger bore. This update raises the power output by 4.5% to 25.4bhp and the torque by 6.5% to 34Nm, making the ride more responsive and engaging.

For comparison, the Scram 411 produces 24bhp and 32Nm. Unlike the Scram 411, which comes with a 5-speed transmission, the Scram 440 is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox.

The updated Scram features a larger 30/32mm front piston calliper and an enhanced frame. It now incorporates switchable ABS. However, the 41mm telescopic fork and monoshock with linkage are unchanged, with 190mm and 180mm suspension travel, respectively. The Scram 440 retains its 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup but adds new options such as tubeless tyres and alloy wheels. For those who favour a classic aesthetic, spoked wheels are still available. In contrast, the Scram 411 was exclusively available with spoke wheels.
