The Royal Enfield Interceptor 750 has been spotted undergoing tests in India, generating excitement among motorcycle enthusiasts. This version of the popular model showcases several notable changes, including a revised exhaust system designed to enhance performance and sound. The test bike also reveals subtle modifications to its design, indicating potential upgrades for improved ride comfort and handling. Royal Enfield, known for its classic styling and robust engines, seems poised to elevate the Interceptor 750 with these updates, which may attract both existing fans and new riders. With the spy shots stirring curiosity, it is clear that the upcoming Interceptor 750 could further cement the bikemaker's position in the premium motorcycle segment in India and abroad.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 750 Spotted: Key Details

As for the design, the Interceptor 750, as captured in spy shots, reveals only a few subtle changes. It features a newly designed LED taillight and round LED turn indicators. The spoked wheels of the Interceptor 650 are replaced by alloy wheels. Overall, the design remains largely unchanged, with familiar components like the fuel tank, a round LED headlamp with a retro vibe, and side panels. A standout change is the model's new 750cc parallel-twin unit, which is expected to deliver over 50bhp and 60Nm, significantly surpassing the output of the existing 650cc model. The six-speed gearbox is anticipated to be retained in the 750cc version.

The test version sports a telescopic fork at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The braking system has been upgraded, featuring dual front discs and a single rear disc rotor. Regarding its features, the upcoming model is anticipated to sport a 5-inch TFT display, similar to that of the Himalayan 450 and Bear 650. This console will offer smartphone connectivity and navigation via Google Maps.

Royal Enfield Sales Figures: December 2024

Royal Enfield recently revealed a 25% growth in total sales, reaching 79,466 units in December 2024, up from 63,387 units in the same month the previous year. Domestic sales rose by 19%, totalling 67,891 units, compared to 57,291 units in December 2023. Additionally, the brand saw a significant 90% increase in exports, with 11,575 units shipped in December 2024, compared to just 6,096 units during the same period in 2023, as stated by the company.
