After revealing a few key details of the upcoming Himalayan 452, Royal Enfield has now officially announced its launch date. The highly-anticipated Himalayan 452 is all set to go on sale on November 7 in the Indian market, and here's what we know so far. The main talking point of the motorcycle is the company's new 451.65cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The engine produces 39.57bhp at 8,000rpm, making it much more powerful than the existing Himalayan. The Royal Enfield Himalayan's 411cc oil/air-cooled engine makes 24.3bhp at 6,500rpm and 32Nm of peak torque at 4,000-4,500rpm. While it has not been revealed, the torque output of the 452 is expected to be in the range of 40 to 45Nm. The Himalayan 452 gets some visual changes over its predecessor, including a large fuel tank, a high-set LED headlamp, a beak fender, and a small tail section with a split-style seat setup.

The 'Himalayan' branding is prominent on the front mudguard, while the 'Himalayan' graphics adorn the fuel tank, side panel, and rear fender. Expect the bike to roll on a 21-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel. The upcoming motorcycle will come equipped with all-LED lighting, a TFT instrument console with navigation, an upside-down fork with a fork cover, and a switchable ABS (anti-lock braking system). Optional tubeless tyres and a wide range of accessories are also on the cards.

In terms of colour schemes, the manufacturer will offer different options to choose from. One of these will be a new Kamet White colour. More on this will be revealed at a later date.
